Our client is seeking a technically strong Actuary to support actuarial analysis, financial modelling, risk assessment, and business decision-making. This opportunity is suited to an analytical professional with strong quantitative skills and a solid understanding of actuarial principles.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Perform actuarial analyses, calculations, and modelling.
* Develop and maintain actuarial models and forecasts.
* Analyse financial and risk data to support business decisions.
* Assist with pricing, reserving, valuations, and financial projections where applicable.
* Conduct experience and assumption analyses.
* Prepare actuarial reports, presentations, and management information.
* Assess financial and insurance risks and provide analytical insights.
* Support regulatory and statutory actuarial reporting requirements.
* Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses.
* Collaborate with finance, risk, underwriting, and other relevant stakeholders.
**Requirements**
* Relevant degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
* Progress toward or membership of a recognised actuarial professional body would be advantageous.
* Relevant actuarial experience, preferably within insurance or financial services.
* Strong mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills.
* Experience with actuarial modelling and data analysis.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; programming or actuarial software experience would be advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
