Audit Manager – Assurance Division Full Time

A growing small-to-medium sized audit and accounting practice is seeking a motivated and technically strong Audit Manager to join its Assurance Division. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of audit, independent review and assurance engagements across a variety of industries, primarily applying IFRS for SMEs and operating within the South African regulatory environment.

Requirements include (but are not limited to):

• Completed SAICA articles with a minimum of 2 years’ of post articles experience in an Audit Supervisor or Audit Manager role within a small-to-medium sized audit practice.
• CA(SA) designation is preferred but not compulsory.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, Income Tax Act and the Companies Act.
• Solid understanding of International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Experience managing audit engagements independently from planning through to completion.
• Experience supervising and reviewing the work of audit staff.
• Proficiency in CaseWare Working Papers, CaseWare Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
