Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to strengthen software quality across their development teams. The role has a strong focus on Playwright automation, while also covering manual testing, defect investigation, test planning and continuous improvement of QA practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain and improve automated tests using Playwright.
• Perform regression, smoke, functional, release and exploratory testing.
• Test development tickets against requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Investigate, recreate and document defects using Azure DevOps.
• Improve QA standards, test processes, documentation and test coverage.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency and automate repetitive tasks.
• Work closely with developers, Product Owners, clients and business stakeholders.
• Support release readiness, QA sign-off and ongoing quality improvements.
Requirements:
• Intermediate experience in software testing, QA or quality engineering.
• Practical experience with Playwright or similar browser automation tools.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and QA best practices.
• Experience creating, maintaining and troubleshooting automated tests.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and software release processes.
• Strong defect investigation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• SQL knowledge would be advantageous.
• Financial services, insurance, CRM or business software experience would be advantageous.
