We are currently looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join a dynamic accounting firm, you will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, tax submissions, bookkeeping oversight, and audit support functions. The role requires strong technical accounting capability and hands-on experience with accounting software and reporting standards.
Requirements include (but are not limited to):
• BCOM Degree with completed SAICA articles (preferably ITC passed) and minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting firm
• Strong proficiency in CaseWare, Sage, Pastel Partner, Xero, QuickBooks, and VIP Payroll, with solid IFRS for SME’s knowledge
• Prepare and review annual financial statements, including independent reviews and compilations using CaseWare
• Prepare income tax returns for trusts, companies, CCs, and individuals via SARS eFiling, and assist with audits
• Perform monthly bookkeeping reviews, payroll support, and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance
