Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on secure, high-volume payment systems while contributing to new development, system enhancements and technical improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Integrate new clients into existing systems.
• Develop, test and maintain software solutions.
• Design and develop new functionality and enhancements.
• Provide 3rd-line technical support and resolve system queries.
• Support system security and audits.
• Improve development processes and techniques.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership.
Requirements:
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent training in Software Development, Computer Science or Engineering.
• 8+ years’ relevant software development experience.
• Strong Java experience, including Java SE/EE and Spring Boot.
• Strong SQL experience with MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Maven, Git and Eclipse/NetBeans.
• Experience working within continuous integration and testing environments.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI protocols.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Advantageous:
• Financial transaction processing experience.
• Experience with high-volume, real-time or multi-threaded systems.
• Postilion development experience.
• Agile/Scrum/Kanban experience.
• Angular frontend development experience.
