Our client is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to design and develop scalable, secure and high-performing applications using the Microsoft .NET stack, with a strong focus on React-based frontend development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain backend services and React-based frontend applications.
• Lead technical solutions and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, BA and development teams.
• Optimise applications for performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews and promote development best practices.
• Develop unit and integration tests.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical discussions.
• Document systems, processes and technical solutions.
• Evaluate new technologies and development practices.
• Mentor junior developers where required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years’ professional software development experience.
• 3+ years’ experience with ASP.NET Core and C#.
• 2+ years’ hands-on experience with React or modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.
