Our client within the IT managed services space is looking for a Senior Technical Specialist to join the team.
Requirements include:
• Grade 12, plus A+, N+, MCITP/MCTS/MCSA, MS-900 and AZ-900 (MS-740, MS-203, MS-500, MS-700 or other IT certifications advantageous)
• 4-5 years’ experience supporting Windows 7/8/10/11, MacOS, and MS Office 2016-2021
• Experience with N-Able tools (N-Central, Cove Data Protection, Mail Assure) and Microsoft 365 (Exchange Hybrid, SharePoint, Teams and related applications), keeping current with emerging M365 technologies
• Install, configure and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers and printers: software/patch/driver management, imaging, backup and restore, and network/USB printer setup
• Advanced networking knowledge: TCP/IP, VPN, routing, Wi-Fi, fibre, switches, routers, access points, and WAN technologies (3G, Diginet, ADSL, Satellite)
• Basic server and Active Directory administration: sharing, security, domain account creation
• Antivirus management and virus remediation
• Strong customer service orientation and troubleshooting ability
