Our client, a leading technology company specialising in industrial IoT and AI-driven solutions, is seeking a skilled Support Engineer to join their growing technical team. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies while supporting clients through installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support across local and international operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, commission, and configure machine vision systems at client sites.
• Configure sensors, IP cameras, laser systems, network switches, and low-voltage power supplies.
• Assist with software installation, XML configuration, and ongoing system maintenance.
• Deliver client handovers and first-line support training.
• Perform remote monitoring, diagnostics, and maintenance of deployed systems.
• Troubleshoot sensor, networking, OPC, and data integrity issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client IT departments on infrastructure planning and support.
• Develop troubleshooting procedures and improve support processes.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related qualification.
• 2–4 years’ hands-on experience in electronics, mining, or a related technical environment.
• Experience with networking infrastructure and electronic fault finding.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Advantageous Experience
• Mining industry field support experience.
• Experience with PLCs, IP cameras, power supplies, servers, Wi-Fi, and networking equipment.
• Exposure to server hosting, databases, firewalls, and infrastructure support.
• Knowledge of OPC communication and setup.
• Minerals processing experience.
