Forecasting and Budgeting Specialist

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute and curious individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for understanding profit drivers in a financial services business. The successful candidate will support financial budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision-making through the analysis of financial and commercial information.

Requirements include (but are not limited to):

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in a financial budgeting and forecasting role.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including financial functions, VBA and pivot tables.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, assess performance and evaluate profitability.
• Innate curiosity, eagerness to learn and strong commercial astuteness
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial scenarios clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and exercise independent judgement in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the lending industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
